Greenwich insurer W. R. Berkley Corp. promoted Joseph L. Sullivan to president of its Facultative Resources Inc. reinsurance underwriting division.
Sullivan, who had been Fac Re’s chief operating officer, immediately succeeds Gerald S. King, who has been appointed vice chairman of Berkley Facultative Reinsurance Services, LLC.
Sullivan joined W. R. Berkley in 2010. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts.
