Chew on this.
The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its ninth annual Hamden Restaurant Week promotion next week (Sept. 23 through Sept. 28). The presenting sponsor for the event is Bankwell in Hamden and North Haven.
Fifteen Hamden restaurants will participate in the festivities. Participating eateries offer prix fixe lunches for between $9 and $15, full dinners for $20 to $35 — or, in some cases, both.
A number of additional dining establishments will offer a “Buy One-Get One” deal on the meal of the diner’s choice
Participating restaurants include Aunt Chilada’s, B&D Deli Works, Bomb Wings & Rice Bar, Café Amici, Eli’s on Whitney, Fresko’s, Ixtapa Tapas & Wine Bar and its companion Ixtapa Grille, Luce, Mickey’s Restaurant & Bar, Mikro Depot, Side Street Grille, TexiKo Tequila Bar, Playwright Irish Pub & Restaurant and the Soup Girl.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Bankwell to make this annual event possible,” said Hamden Chamber President Nancy Dudchik. “We’re glad to have them join us in showcasing all our diverse and unique eateries. It’s a great opportunity for people to discover a new restaurant, or revisit an old favorite for great prices and deals.”
Beyond that, as Dudchik likes to put it, Restaurant Week is “un-fork-gettable” — but hardly un-fork-edible.
