A director of Enfield-based solar component manufacturer STR Holdings has resigned after less than six months in his position, the company said Thursday.
STR didn’t say in it’s U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission filing why Gokalp Bayramoglu had resigned, but it was not the result of any disagreement with the company.
Bayramoglu was appointed in Aug. 2016 as part of an agreement between STR and its majority owner, China’s Zhenfa Energy Group.
Several other STR directors appointed as a result of the 2014 Zhenfa stock purchase agreement have also left the board.
