Enfield’s STR Holdings Inc. said board member Bryant R. Riley has resigned to devote more time to his own company.
Riley was elected to STR’s board in March, filling a seat vacated by Susan C. Schnabel. Riley’s investment bank, B. Riley & Co., merged with California’s Great American Group in June, with Riley assuming the role of chairman and CEO of the merged company.
STR said Riley had no disagreement with the company and that he supported its recent decision to sell an equity stake to Zhenfa Energy Group.
