Connecticut’s got talent, if you ask foreign-based companies. The state ranks 18th in the nation in the number of total insourced jobs in which foreign companies look to America for workers, according to the Organization for International Investment. Connecticut harbors 109,000 insourced employees, nearly 7 percent of the state’s private-sector workforce and more than a quarter of the manufacturing sector. A few of the state’s insourcing companies include Boehringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline and Phillips Electronics North America Corp.
