State money pot happier with Nappier

The state has recovered $6 million in class action lawsuits this year alone, according to Connecticut Treasurer Denise Nappier. That is a record for the agency’s seven-year effort to recoup investment losses from corporate wrongdoing. Since 2001, when the strategy to reclaim money was launched, the state has regained $16.8 million. Prior to that year, the state did not collect this money.
