Rep. Kerry Wood (D-Rocky Hill) has joined Charter Realty, a Westport-based commercial real estate brokerage, as vice president.
Wood, a lifelong Rocky Hill resident, has almost two decades of commercial real estate experience and chairs the Connecticut General Assembly’s Insurance & Real Estate Committee.
She joins Charter from Wethersfield-based New England Retail Properties Inc. She’s also previously held roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Trinity Real Estate Group in upstate New York.
She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Commercial Real Estate Women Network.
In her new role at Charter, Wood will focus on tenant and landlord representation efforts across the Northeast, with a particular emphasis on the Connecticut market, Charter said.
