Access Health CT coverage for 2017 can be obtained through Jan. 31, executives reminded the public Friday, with so far just under 10,300 first-time new customers enrolled since Nov. 1.
All told, 114,421 old and new customers are enrolled for 2016/2017 health care coverage, said AHCT CEO Jim Wadleigh, noting, “… there’s not a lot of time left” to enroll for 2017.
Customers must renew or enroll in a new plan by midnight Jan. 15 to have coverage that starts Feb. 1. Those enrolling by midnight Jan. 31 will be covered beginning March 1, Wadleigh said.
As of Friday, 234,695 unique visitors visited the AHCT website; and workers answered 267,680 calls. New (first-time) and renewed enrolled customers totaled 27,035. Completed Medicaid applications totaled 54,277, with 11,782 of those being first-time customers, the agency said.
