State gets $1.2M disability training grant

The State of Connecticut has received a $1.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to fund a program call Disability Program Navigators (DPN), which helps to train workers with disabilities through local one-stop career centers. Fifteen states have recently joined the program, and collected a total of $14.2 million in grant money. Forty states in total participate in the DPN program.
