The mortgage crisis continues in Connecticut as hundreds of houses across the state became part of the foreclosure processĀ last week.
From Dec. 7 to Dec. 13 there were 405 petitionsĀ or Lis Pendens filed in Connecticut, according to data from The Warren Group.
Locally,Ā the figuresĀ includedĀ 88 petitions or Lis PendensĀ inĀ Hartford County andĀ 17 inĀ Middlesex County. The two hardest hit counties were Fairfield, with 118, and New Haven, with 120. The week also included 66 auctions for foreclosed homes.
