State exports hit record $12.2B mark

Exports from Connecticut businesses topped $12.2 billion last year, a 26 percent increase from 2005, according to data released by the Department of Economic and Community Development . The growth in exports from the Nutmeg State has been steady since 2003, when $8.1 billion of products were sold. In a press release announcing the new numbers, Gov. M.
