Stanley Black & Decker opened its $16 million Stanley Security North America headquarters Thursday in Fishers, Ind.
The 80,000-square-foot facility will house 350 Stanley Security employees who will be brought together in one building from various locations throughout the Greater Indianapolis area. Stanley Security, an electronic security provider, has more than 9,000 employees.
“This state-of-the-art headquarters will provide a powerful new springboard from which to grow the security business and develop the innovative security technologies of the future,” said Stanley Black & Decker CEO Jim Loree.
The new headquarters is intended to become a showcase of the world’s latest security products and services, and includes features and amenities designed to attract and retain the most talented employees in the area, said Robert Raff, president of Stanley Security North America.
