The Stanley Works has named 3M Co.‘s Patrick D. Campbell, senior vice president and chief financial officer, to the board of directors of the New Britain hand- and power-tool maker.
Campbell, 56, has been 3M’s finance chief since joining the Minnesota-based diversified consumer and office products and technology company in 2002. Previously, Campbell was vice president of finance in Europe for General Motors Corp., where he had a 25-year career.
John F. Lundgren, Stanley chairman and chief executive officer, said Campbell’s global experience will contribute to the company’s future success.
