John F. Lundgren, CEO and chairman of New Britain’s Stanley Black & Decker, received nearly $2.5 million in additional compensation in 2014, the manufacturer said in a U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission filing.
Lundgren’s total compensation was $13.1 million, up from $10.7 million in 2013. His salary and stock awards increased, but the major difference was his bonus, which grew from $1.7 million to $3.7 million.
The total compensation figures include the estimated value of awarded stock and option awards, but do not account for any shares vested or exercised during the year.
Lundgren realized an additional $33.6 million in value from exercised or vested share last year, according to the filing.
