Brewer’s Yacht Haven West, one of New England’s largest full-service marinas, plans to close by the end of October after losing its lease, The Associated Press reports.
Marina president Jack Brewer told The Stamford Advocate that his 360-slip marina and boatyard will have to shut down by Oct. 31.
The newspaper reports that the company that owns the site, Building, Land & Technology, plans to develop the property. But John Freeman, the company’s executive vice president, did not provide any details.
Customers at the marina will be given access to other boatyards operated by Brewer.
