Stamford aircraft lessor Intrepid Aviation says it sold a two-year-old jetliner equipped with Pratt & Whitney Co. engines to an Irish air fleet operator.
Intrepid said Friday it sold the Airbus A330-300 to Dublin-based Floreat Aviation MSN 1518 Ltd. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Intrepid says it acquired the A330-300 aircraft new in April 2014 and delivered it under long-term lease to Korea’s Asiana Airlines.
“This is the second A330-300 we have sold this year, which further demonstrates the continued investor interest in young A330s on long-term lease, in particular to globally recognized operators such as Asiana,” said Intrepid CEO Olaf Sachau.
Intrepid owns commercial aircraft leased to airline operators worldwide.
