Stamford-based Anabranch Capital Management LP has raised $37.8 million from investors, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The money was raised through the firm’s Anabranch Fund LP, which reported 23 investors have participated in the offering so far. The securities were sold under exemptions from registration provided by Rule 506(b) of Regulation D and Section 3(c)(1) of the Investment Company Act, commonly used by hedge funds and other private pooled investment vehicles.
The filing lists the fund’s principal office at 680 Washington Blvd., in Stamford. It also names Alexander Shapiro and Daniel Wolf as executive officers and promoters, and Mark Haworth as a promoter.
