Stamford Health, the nonprofit health system that owns Stamford Hospital, has opened a multispecialty facility on the city’s Long Ridge Corridor, next to another Stamford Health facility in a separate building.
The new facility, which will eventually occupy the entire 66,000-square-foot second floor of an office building at 260 Long Ridge Road, provides care in several medical specialties that include behavioral health, diabetes and endocrinology and rheumatology. Stamford Health said the facility will open in phases, the first of which was a 23,000-square-foot space that opened in late August.
The new facility at 260 Long Ridge Road is next to Stamford Health’s existing 41,000-square-foot facility at 292 Long Ridge Road, which is home to several primary care, OB-GYN, nephrology, and urogynecology offices, as well as a blood draw station, radiology and walk-in center.
Stamford Health plans to relocate three behavioral health providers from its Tully Center and add more providers in 2026. It also plans to transfer five diabetes education program providers, 10 diabetes and endocrinology providers and four rheumatology providers from the facility at 292 Long Ridge Road to the new facility at 260 Long Ridge Road.
