A Stamford networking coalition of restaurant/hospitality professionals has jelled into the New England Culinary Group.
The NECG covers Connecticut, Rhode Island, southern Massachusetts and part of Westchester County, N.Y. It’s online address is www.newenglandculinarygroup.com
The group’s goal is to be recognized as a leading resource for the regional restaurant / hospitality industry, NECG co-founder Jeremy Staub, president of Box8Creative, a brand identity and web development design company that specializes in restaurants.
“After joining several networking groups throughout the area, it was clear to me that I wasn’t networking with the right people,” Staub said Thursday. “So we began developing a team of professionals who worked within the restaurant industry.”
NECG members are chosen through referrals from other members and proven first-rate performances, he said. Only one person/company per concentration is able to be a member of the group.
NECG operates as a networking group, meeting regularly, providing leads, as well as support in obtaining optimal client contact, closed business, and on-going relationships.
