Stamford-based engineered components manufacturer Crane Co. said it has completed a previously announced leadership transition, with Alex Alcala assuming the roles of president and CEO effective April 27.
Alcala succeeds Max Mitchell, who has moved into the role of executive chairman as part of the planned succession, the Stamford-based company said.
Alcala has been with Crane for 13 years and has held various leadership roles during that time.
Crane manufactures engineered components used in aerospace, defense, space and industrial applications, and employs about 9,000 people globally.
