Bridgeport’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center has named Dr. Christopher Iannuzzi as chairman of its Department of Oncology.
Iannuzzi will work directly with clinical and administrative leadership within the department to develop cancer services at St. Vincent’s over the next few years.
Iannuzzi has been at St. Vincent’s since 2002 serving in several roles including chief of radiation oncology and most recently as vice chairman of the department of oncology. He has also served as the Cancer Liaison Physician to the Commission on Cancer, is the current chairperson of the St. Vincent’s Cancer Committee, and has also been an active participant serving on both the Credentials and Executive Committees of the hospital.
