St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury has named Dr. Isha Emhoff as its new chair of surgery.
A board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in complex cancer and breast surgery, Emhoff brings expertise in breast, melanoma, gastrointestinal and minimally invasive procedures.
Before joining St. Mary’s, she served as medical director of surgical oncology at St. Vincent Medical Group and Hospital in Worcester, Mass., where she also chaired the cancer committee and acted as cancer liaison physician to the commission on cancer.
