St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury has promoted a longtime physician to chief of cardiology and hired an executive director for its hospital foundation.
Dr. Paul F. Kelly, a member of hospital’s medical staff since 1996, will be cardiology chief. He practices with Franklin Medical Group, an affiliate of the hospital. He also chairs the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation board of directors.
Meanwhile, the foundation’s new executive director is Katie Spizzirri. She previously served as executive director of St. Francis Hospital in Delware. Most recently, she was a constituent liaison for Sen. Richard Blumenthal.
St. Mary’s also hired Robin Sills, a registered nurse, as physician liaison. She most recently worked as a physician relations specialist and marketing coordinator at Naugatuck Valley Radiology Associates.
