St. Francis Care said it has promoted David Bittner to chief financial officer and Dr. Robert J. Krug to CEO of Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital.
Bittner joined St. Francis Care in 2012 and has been senior vice president of finance since March 2014.
The CFO role combines Bittner duties in his most recent position as well as those of former St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center CFO John Giamalis, according to spokeswoman Fiona Phelan. The hospital CFO position was eliminated when Giamalis left in October.
Krug’s new CEO role at Mount Sinai represents a new position at St. Francis. He also retains his previous title of medical director.
Krug joined St. Francis in 1996 and will continue to lead St. Francis’ physical medicine and rehabilitation service line.
