St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford has named Denise M. Peterson as interim executive director of surgical services.
She previously worked for the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.
Peterson earned her nursing degree from St. Francis’ nursing school, her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford and her master’s degree in healthcare administration from Rensselaer.
