West Hartford’s St. Brigid School has hired first-grade teacher Shevon Sweeney Hickey as principal.
Hickey, a St. Brigid alum, has worked for the private Catholic school for seven years.
She previously worked for public schools in Old Lyme, Newington and West Hartford.
