SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc. has acquired Tier1 CRM, a provider of customer relationship management software to sell-side financial services firms and investment banks, the company announced Tuesday.
SS&C, which provides software to the financial services and healthcare industries, purchased the CRM business and related assets from Tier1 Financial Solutions in an all-cash transaction. Tier1 CRM is based in Toronto, Canada.
The acquisition expands SS&C’s CRM capabilities, adding more than 30 enterprise clients across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, the company said. Tier1 CRM has more than 60 employees in Canada and the U.S.Â
Founded in 1986, SS&C is headquartered in Windsor, and has offices around the world. The publicly traded company has made multiple acquisitions recently.
