After finalizing its $2.6 billion acquisition of Advent Software in late July, Windsor’s SS&C Technologies Holdings has named a leadership team for the California business unit.
Pete Hess, who was Advent’s president and CEO before the acquisition, will continue to lead the business as senior vice president and general manager.
Directly beneath Hess will be Dave Welling, whose new titles are senior vice president and managing director of SS&C’s advisory market group. Welling was formerly general manager of Advent’s Black Diamond business, which makes software for independent financial advisors.
