Spirit Airlines will be starting new, nonstop flights from Bradley International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico, the Connecticut Airport Authority announced Thursday.
The new service to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan will launch on June 7.
This is the second Caribbean route Spirit Airlines is launching at Bradley. In December it launched its first nonstop flight to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Spirit’s new San Juan route will operate year-round, three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, airport officials said.
In addition, it operates nonstop service to Fort Myers, Florida, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Orlando, Florida, and Tampa, Florida.
