Spigot Cafe property in Hartford sells for $350,000 

The longtime home of Hartford’s Spigot Cafe has sold for $350,000.

The 2,640-square-foot mixed-use property at 466-468 Prospect Ave., on the Hartford-West Hartford border, sold earlier this month.

The buyer was The Big Red One LLC, which is controlled by Neil Leary, state records show. 

The seller was GR468 LLC, which is controlled by several individuals, including Joe Grillo and Ray Rossomando, who took over ownership of the Spigot Cafe in 2019, following the death of the former owner David Taylor Jr.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the plans for the property, which also includes a residential component. 

The property was built in 1928 and sits on 0.2 acres.
