Southwest launches daily Boston flights

A decade after launching service from Bradley International Airport, Southwest Airlines today began daily service from Boston’s Logan Airport.

Dallas-based Southwest is offering 10 daily nonstop flights from Logan to, among other cities, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, and San Francisco.

The nation’s largest air carrier by flights flown began serving Bradley in 1999, three years after initiating New England flight service at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island. Southwest also serves Manchester Airport in Manchester, N.H.

In June, Southwest added daily service to New York’s LaGaurdia Airport.
