Southington online gun retailer buys Cheshire warehouse for $1.3M

An online retailer of firearms, bulk ammunition and gun accessories has purchased a 35,000-square-foot warehouse on 4.3 acres in Cheshire’s north end for $1.3 million.

Target Sports USA is renovating the building at 30 Fieldstone Court and will relocate its operation from Southington to the larger Cheshire site in the next three months, according to Godin Property Brokers LLC of Middlebury, which brokered the sale.

Ed Godin, Jr. represented all parties in the transaction and is marketing the company’s existing 13,500-square-foot facility at 24 Robert Porter Road in Southington for sale or lease.

$800K vehicle storage building

An ambulance, towing and limousine company has purchased an 18,000-square-foot industrial building on two acres in North Haven for vehicle storage and maintenance.

Phil Barber, senior broker with Pearce Real Estate in North Haven, represented both the buyer, Trilot 7 Enterprises, and the seller, Funaro Realty, in the $800,000 sale of 395 State St.

Trilot 7, which operates Nelson Ambulance, Access Ambulance, Connecticut Handivan, Nelcon Towing and Recovery and The Limo Group, plans to renovate the building and grounds, Barber said.

$205K Water Pollution Control building

The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority has purchased a 7,130-square-foot commercial building at 293-295 East Street in New Haven for $205,000, according to Colonial Properties Inc.

The warehouse will be used to house vehicles and equipment.

Fred A. Messore, senior vice president at the Orange-based real estate company, represented the seller, ADF Properties LLC. Lou Proto from the Proto Group represented the buyer.

West Haven Japanese restaurant lease

Menya Jiro LLC of Stamford has leased a 2,150-square-foot restaurant space at 291 Captain Thomas Blvd. in West Haven to open a Japanese ramen bar, Colonial Properties said.

Commercial brokers Al Melotto and Kevin Weirsman represented the landlord, Captain Thomas Realty LLC, in negotiating the 10-year lease. The space will be remodeled to accommodate the new eatery, the real estate company said.

Gas station lease

Sardar LLC has leased a fleet fueling facility at 670 Ella Grasso Blvd. in New Haven to open a gas station, Colonial Properties said.

Commercial broker Bill Weirsman represented the landlord, R.M. Associates LLC, in negotiating the long-term lease.
