Southington 7-Eleven sold for nearly $6M

A new-build convenience store and gas station in Southington has been sold for nearly $6 million.

CJC Enterprises LLC bought the 7-Eleven property at 500 Queen St., from RAP Properties LLC in late July for $5.75 million, according to town land records.

RAP Properties bought the property in 2001 for $1.35 million. It is the site of a former Rite Aid store and pharmacy that was demolished to make way for the new 7-Eleven store and gas station.

The 4,700-square-foot convenience store, which sits on 2.2 acres at the exit of Interstate 84 in the busy Queen Street commercial district, was built in 2022 by Berlin-based Fortunato Construction.
