South Windsor commercial industrial property sold for $2.2M

An industrial multi-building property along the Route 5 corridor in South Windsor recently sold for more than $2.2 million.

Manchester-based Two J’s Realty LLC and principal John P. Maloney sold the property at 681 John Fitch Blvd., to New Jersey-based BHD CT Realty LLC and principal Richard Balik for $2.275 million in a deal recorded Feb. 17.

The 5.2-acre lot contains two buildings with more than 41,000 square feet of commercial industrial space. 

The front building, with 17,000 square feet of space, is a two-story single tenant building currently occupied by Sullivan Tire. It was built in 1982.

Building two in the rear of the property is a multi-tenant building from 1984 with more than 24,000 square feet of space and 25 drive-in doors.

Robert Pagani and Christian Dietz of Colliers represented the seller. 

Pagani said the new owner intends to renovate the property for new commercial tenants.

Balik is affiliated with General Glass International in Seacaucus, N.J.

The property is located in the southwestern end of South Windsor on Route 5 with easy access to I-91 and I-84 via I-291. 

It has a total appraised value of more than $1.9 million.
