California renewable energy installer SolarCity has reached a marketing partnership with Crius Energy to reach the Stamford electric suppliers’ customers in five states, including Connecticut.
The deal allows SolarCity to reach out to the Crius customers in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland and Delaware.
Crius has 230,000 customers in nine states, and the marketing deal covers the bulk of those.
In the agreement, Crius will offer SolarCity’s services to both its new and existing customers in the Northeast. The two companies can expand the agreement to more Crius customers in 2014.
