A state-supported program that aims to make rooftop solar affordable for any homeowner has made New London its latest target market.
“Solar for All,” backed by $5 million in low-cost debt capital from the Connecticut Green Bank to installer-financer PosiGen — which used the money to help build out Connecticut operations — held a press conference this week attended by New London Mayor Michael Passero, state Sen. Paul Formica and officials from the Green Bank and Posigen.
Solar for All is available across the state, but it has specifically promoted itself so far in New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford.
