Airlines operating out of Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks have canceled approximately 12% of today’s flights due to inclement weather, the Connecticut Airport Authority reported.
Most of the affected flights were morning departures, according to the CAA, though airlines are continuing to adjust their schedules in response to Friday’s snow storm, and further flight cancellations are possible.
The airport itself is open, and snow removal operations are underway.
The CAA is advising passengers scheduled to travel today to contact their airline to confirm the status of their flight before coming to the airport.
