Rick Smirl is now executive vice president, chief operating officer, and member of the senior leadership team at Hartford-based asset management company Virtus Investment Partners Inc.
Smirl previously served as chief operations officer at Seattle-based Russell Investments. At Virtus, he will lead the company’s product management, oversight and development activities.
