Slot revenue was down at the state’s two Native American casinos for June with Foxwoods slots revenues down for the second month in a row.
Mohegan Sun reported slot revenue of $45.6 million for the month of June, down 2.3 percent from $46.7 million in the year-ago period. Its handle was down 2.8 percent, to $563.3 million, compared to $580.1 million last June.
Foxwoods reported June slot revenue of $35.3 million, an 8.4 percent drop compared to $38.6 million in June 2015. The slot handle for the month was $442 million, down 8.8 percent from the $484.9 million wagered in the same month in 2015.
