The Hartford operators of Connecticut restaurants that include Wood-N-Tap have opened their eighth eatery in Orange.
Hartford Restaurant Group Inc. debuted their sixth Wood-N-Tap casual dining location at 311 boston Post Road.
The first Wood-N-Tap opened in Hartford in 2002 and also has spread to Farmington, Southington, Rocky Hill and Vernon.
The chain also owns Agave Grill in downtown Hartford and TD Homer’s Grill in Southington.
With the 75 workers hired in Orange, Hartford Restaurant Group says it employs more than 600 in Connecticut.

In conjunction with the Orange opening, the chain donated $5,250 to the West Haven High School’s parent-teacher-student organization to fund an alcohol-free graduation event.
