East Hartford aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney said Singapore airline Tigerair will buy PurePower engines to power 37 Airbus A320neo planes.
Tigerair, which bills itself as a no-frills, affordable airline, said it chose the engines because of projected fuel savings.
