🔒Simsbury Bank sponsors financial literacy program

Simsbury Bank recently sponsored Hartford Stage's Financial Literacy Program with the Bloomfield Carmen Arace Intermediate School's sixth grade. The program is a five-day residency that employs theatre techniques to actively engage middle school students in learning about financial literacy. Representatives from Simsbury Bank visited the school and watched students' presentations of what they learned during the residency program. The presentations included enactments of the money cycle and demonstrations on how banks operate, as well as skits on credit and fiscal responsibility. A total of 95 students (shown above) participated in the program.
