West Hartford commercial developer Simon Konover Co. said it and its partners have purchased a 268-unit apartment community in Danbury for $53.3 million.
Konover said it partnered with Wisconsin’s Outlook Development Group and a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Group to purchase Avalon Bay Communities, which they will rebrand as Ashwood Valley Apartments.
The 11 three-story buildings were built in 1998 and contain apartments ranging from 769 square feet to 1,494 square feet.
It’s Konover’s seventh such transaction with Outlook but the first in Connecticut.
