The Simon Konover Co. in West Hartford grabbed top honors at the recent Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Greater Hartford Chapter 2011 TOBY (Office Building of the Year) awards.
Konover Commercial property manager Linda Pizzella was honored as BOMA Member of the Year for her service as treasurer of the Greater Hartford Chapter for the past seven years. She manages a portfolio in excess of 250,000 square-feet of commercial properties located throughout the area.
One Century Tower in New Haven, a 19-story office tower with an eight-story attached, 600-car garage, was recognized in the 250,000-499,000-square-foot category. The building is managed by Konover Commercial and owned in part by Wiggin and Dana LLP. Tenants include People’s United Bank, UBS Americas, Inc., Updike Kelly & Spellacy, and U.S. government offices.
The Simon Konover Co. and its related-entities own and manage more than 9,800 apartment units, 2.5 million square-feet of office and industrial space, 2.8 million square-feet of retail space, and 19 hotels.
