Silver Golub & Teitell partner named president of CT Trial Lawyers Association

A partner at Stamford-based plaintiffs’ law firm Silver Golub & Teitell has been named president of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), a nonprofit professional association of trial lawyers that advocates for civil justice.

On June 16, the firm’s managing partner, Peter Dreyer, was confirmed for a one-year term as president of the group.

Dreyer succeeds Bridgeport-based Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder partner Alinor Sterling as president of the CTLA.

Dreyer specializes in medical malpractice, wrongful death and serious personal injury cases, including birth injuries and trucking accidents.

“CTLA is grounded in the belief that justice depends on access, advocacy and an independent judiciary,” Dreyer said. “In a time of rising threats, I’m honored to help lead our continued fight for those values.”

In addition to Dreyer and Sterling, CTLA’s officers are: President-Elect Cindy Robinson, Vice President Patrick Kennedy, Treasurer Brian Flood, Secretary Karolina Dowd and Parliamentarian Garrett Moore Jr.

Also on June 16, during CTLA’s annual meeting, Silver Golub & Teitell partner Ernie Teitell received the group’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
