‘SILENT PARTNER’ RAISES $148,500 FOR ECHN

The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital recently presented a check to Eastern Connecticut Health Network for Manchester Memorial Hospital in the amount of $148,500. Funds were raised through the hospital gift shop, boutique and café at the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center, and the Penny Saver Thrift Shop over the past year. Deborah Parker, senior vice president of patient care services and chief clinical officer at ECHN, hailed the auxiliary as the “silent partner” of the hospital, as they are always there in the background, ensuring the success of the hospital. Pictured are Roberta Irish, president of auxiliary, and Thomas Scanlon, chair of the board of ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation.
