Sikorsky Aerospace Services said it had landed its first commercial repair agreement with the Brazilian Air Force.
Sikorsky, which is owned by Hartford’s United Technologies Corp., said it will service a fleet of H-60 helicopters under the multi-year deal. Brazil’s government bought the helicopters from Sikorsky under the U.S. government’s Foreign Military Sales program.
Sikorsky said it has also entered into an agreement in Brazil to warehouse spare parts for commercial operators in the country.
