United Technology Corp.’s Sikorsky Aircraft division has received a $37.7 million contract from the Army for two variants of Black Hawk helicopters and related parts, work that will be done in Stratford, the Pentagon said.
Sikorsky will build and deliver two UH-60M, the Army’s modernized Black Hawk, and one HH-60M medical-evacuation helicopter to the service.
The contract has an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2012. (AP)
