Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. in Stratford is getting an approximately $171.1 million Defense Department contract to a United Technologies Corp. division to make and convert 14 aircraft for the United Arab Emirates.
Sikorsky, a division of Hartford’s United Technologies Corp., will work on the UH-60M aircraft project in Stratford.
Work is expected to be completed on Dec. 31, 2012. (AP)
