Sicilian heritage nonprofit sells Hartford home for $270K

A used car dealership owner in Berlin has purchased the former Hartford home of the Canicattinese Society for $270,000, city records show. 

The 3,591-square-foot property at 500 Franklin Ave., sold Dec. 15 to FULL CIRCLE REALTY LLC, which is controlled by Albert Sejdiu, owner of Tru Auto Mall in Berlin, state records show.

The seller was the Canicattinese Society Inc., a nonprofit organization that promotes Sicilian heritage. 

Property listing broker Curtiss Clemens Sr., president and co-owner of Century 21 Clemens Group, said the Canicattinese Society will be looking to lease new space in the suburbs, while the property’s new new owner is seeking tenants.
